This beautiful wall-mounted picture frame is gorgeously built from solid cherry. It features clean edges and a 3 3/4” square window.
Working in their home studio in Louisville, Kentucky, Matt and Heather King (Turning Green) make each frame by hand from reclaimed hardwood. The wood is sourced from Chicago-area trees that have died naturally or have been cut down for construction. Many of these trees would otherwise be sent to landfills.
Photos are easy to insert from the back of the frame, and are held in place by a magnetized wooden backing. Each frame is finished with an organic hand-rubbed linseed oil and beeswax mixture.
