Hsiao Mei & Toffer WANT 1 and HAVE 1.
Reflecting the unique character of the craftsman’s ability, this small bowl carved from a burl of mountain laurel paired with a little spoon of lilac wood make a distinctive sugar bowl or salt cellar, or stand on their own as sculpture.
Working with wood he finds in the New Hampshire woods, Dan Dustin carves his spoons and bowls allowing the grain and the feel of the wood to guide his cuts. Heated in beeswax then rubbed with walnut and orange oils, the finished work is durable, food safe, and non-stick.
Bowl measures approximately 5 in. across.
